RESOLUTION 2017 - 04 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE GENERAL FUND, AND THE SEWER FUND BUDGETS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018; PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATIONS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council of the City of Daytona Beach Shores a tentative budget for the City for the fiscal year 2017-2018, together with a budget message and supporting schedules, and; WHEREAS, the City Council, on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. held a Public Hearing on the tentative budget, millage rate, and general obligation debt millage rate for the City for the year 2017-2018 and; WHEREAS, within five days after due public advertising, a Public Hearing was held to finalize the budget on September 26, 2017; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, FLORIDA: SECTION ONE: The General Fund Budget of $21,245,900 and supporting schedules, a copy of which has been attached hereto, is hereby adopted as the final General Fund Budget for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 and is hereby appropriated as expenditures for personal services, operating expenses, capital outlay and other purposes of the City of Daytona Beach Shores. SECTION TWO: The Sewer Fund Budget of $3,394,100 and supporting schedules, a copy of which has been attached hereto, is hereby adopted as the final Sewer Fund Budget for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 and is hereby appropriated as expenditures for personal services, operating expenses, capital outlay and other purposes of the City of Daytona Beach Shores. SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption.
