Staff: City Manager Michael T. Booker, Assistant City Manager Jim McCroskey, and City Clerk Cheri Schwab. 1. REPORT ON MEETING WITH VOLUSIA COUNTY - Assistant City Manager McCroskey passed out copies of the recommended immediate plan of action. He reported on the March 17th meeting with the Volusia County Council. The County Council approved the concept of the Citys CRA plan and the cost associated with it of $66,722,000.00. The only provision the County requires is to provide 500 off-beach parking spaces. He explained the elements of the plan and that each one has a time line. At the next meeting, he hopes to provide a timeline of revenue and expenses for each upcoming year. There are two factors that can influence when things occur: cash flow and the reconstruction of A1A by the FDOT. The state plans to repave A1A starting in August of 2008. That means a plan needs to be in place by August 2006 for the underground utilities and bike path. To help supplement income from the CRA, he recommended hiring a Grants Administrator. The salary range would be in the mid 40,000s. CMBR CELONA moved, seconded by CMBR LARGE to advertise for a Grants Administrator with a salary in the range of $45,000.
